Peter Jackson
Sir Peter Robert Jackson ONZ KNZM (geboren 31 oktober 1961, Wellington, Nieuw-Zeeland) is een Nieuw-Zeelandse filmregisseur. Hij is vooral bekend door zijn regie van de Lord of the Ringsfilmtrilogie. Hij regisseerde ook de film King Kong uit 2005.
In 2003 won Jackson drie Academy Awards voor The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: Academy Award for Directing, Academy Award for Best Picture en Academy Award for Writing Adapted Screenplay.
