Pontiac
Pontiac was een autofabrikant, eigendom van General Motors. Pontiac stond bekend om het maken van betaalbare prestatieauto's. Het werd opgericht in 1926. In 2009 kondigde General Motors aan dat het Pontiac zou sluiten.
Pontiac is genoemd naar Pontiac (leider van de Ottawa), een oorlogshoofd uit de 18e eeuw, en naar de stad Pontiac, Illinois.
