Pnau is een Australische dansmuziekgroep. Er zijn twee leden: een zanger, Nick Littlemore, en een gitarist, Peter Mayes. Ze komen uit Sydney. Hun eerste album, Sambanova (1999), won de ARIAAward voor Best Dance Release, en was zeer succesvol in de Australische muziekcharts.
Hun derde album, Pnau, was ook een succes bij de critici. Ze werden getekend bij een platenlabel van muzikant Elton John nadat hij dit album had genoteerd.
Littlemore heeft ook succes geboekt met zijn nevenproject Empire of the Sun.
