American Hockey League
De American Hockey League of AHL is een professionele ijshockeycompetitie in de Verenigde Staten en Canada. Het wordt beschouwd als de farm league van de National Hockey League. Het belangrijkste kampioenschap in de AHL waarvoor de twee winnende teams van hun conferences spelen is de Calder Cup. Het oudste huidige team in de AHL is de Hershey Bears dat in 1938 begon te spelen.
