Billy Boyd
Billy Boyd (geboren op 28 augustus 1968 in Glasgow) is een Schots acteur. Hij is vooral bekend als Peregrin Took in de Lord of the Rings filmtrilogie (2001-2003) en Barrett Bonden in Peter Weir's film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003).

Talenten
Naast acteur kan hij ook zingen en gitaar, bas en drums spelen. Hij schreef en zong een lied in Peter Jacksons The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Hij werkte 6 jaar als boekbinder voordat hij acteur werd. Een van de boeken die hij bond was The Lord of the Rings.
Hij woont in een huis in Lesmahagow met zijn vriendin, Alison McKinnon. Op 26 april 2006 kregen hij en McKinnon hun eerste kind: Jack William Boyd.
